Come aside to rest…

Mark 6:31
Amplified Bible (AMP)

31 And He said to them, [As for you] come away by yourselves to a deserted place, and rest a while—for many were [continually] coming and going, and they had not even leisure enough to eat.

Life has a way of making us tired and stressing us out. Even the disciples of Jesus got tired from the crowds. Jesus told them to go to a quiet place, away from the people, to recharge themselves again. Rest for the body is as important as rest for the soul (will, mind, emotions) and most important for our spirit-man:

Matthew 11:28
Amplified Bible (AMP)

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease] and relieve and refresh [your souls.]

If you are feeling or experiencing stress and fatigue, take the Word of God and rest in it, find refreshing from the many promises God made to us:

2 Chronicles 32:8
King James Version (KJV)

8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Father, We pray for each one reading this post that is in need of rest, and ask You, in Jesus Name to give them Your Peace and rest as they come to You in a quiet place, refresh them please by Your Spirit. Amen!

Blessings and rest for you from your labors
