Everything in God’s kingdom has a process to it. Faith has a process (Romans 1:15-17) that needs to be followed. The calling of God has a process.
There simply are no shortcuts.
The life of Moses is an excellent example of the process in which God changed Moses to be the effective leader of His people that He needed Moses to be. The wilderness experience in Moses’ life was the process.
In Noah’s life, the ark was his process;
By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Hebrews 11:7
Many confuse the favor of God with shortcuts or overriding the process.
Even Jesus did not take shortcuts but folwed God’s process for His life and ministry (Luke 1:29-56, Luke 2, Luke 3, Luke 4, Luke 5)
Jesus had to choose His Father’s plan and submit to His process;
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39
The moment we try to take a detour or shortcut, we land up in trouble and lose our peace. At times the process may be painful and difficult, however, the rewards are so amazing.
If you are battling today by not understanding the circumstances you are or are buffeted, remember the process of faith and God’s hand on your life.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrerws 11:6
