A bank note or silver coin does not lose its value simply because it’s left in a drawer or lost on a pavement. It retains its monetary value because of what it is – money

In the parable of the lost son (Luke 15: 11-32) the father never said to the son that left him “Sorry, you can’t come back home, since you are of no value to me. You lost your value in the pig sty.” In like manner, the lost coin parable (Luke 15:8-10) indicates that when the woman found her lost coin, it still had as much value as when she lost it. It never lost any value because it was hidden from her sight for a while.

The term ‘lost’ implies ownership. If we lost something we once owned it.

We are God’s precious possession. His dream. We have such value, even in our state of being lost we never lose our value. No person ever created by God is worthless. Everyone has value.

You are so valuable, even if you do not believe it or see it. To God and to humanity you are unique and valuable.

Celebrate, daily, your value in Chris Jesus!
